Vampire Diaries (Get to Live before you Die )
WE have only so long to live, but as we live we tend to forget
that, the burdens, the joy the act of living itself takes away that idea that
one day we’re gonna close our eyes and it’s all gonna end. Dreaming and
preparing for a latter time Is all we do now, hoping that soon we’re gonna get
to that time where all is fine, where we are even remotely satisfied. Because
that is all we can do to pass the time, yes! We take pictures every now and
then, capturing moments behind a screen or on a form of paper because soon our
memories fail us and all we remember is bits and pieces. But the captions, they
fill the rest in. Once upon a time there was me, I lived I dreamt I hoped, and
one day it all just disappeared, and all I am is an empty seat in a conference
meeting, or an empty room down the hall and maybe even an abandoned box of
memories someone is too afraid to open. We can run and pretend for as long as
we can that it’s not gonna happen to us and we should because when it does there’s
only one question we’re gonna ask ourselves. “Was it all worth it?” the answer
better be yes, but there are only so many people who can say yes. So for the
rest of us who don’t know, don’t ask; just live, dream, forget because what I realized
when it was too late, is that life no matter how long we’ve lived it for is
only the slower process of dying. Don’t let
the uncertainty kill you first.
